Arulmigu Shree Thirukannayira mudaiyaar Thirukoil
Thirukannar koil is situated in the village “Gurumanakudi” in Naagai district under Seerkazhi province. The temple is situated 7 kms Southeast of Vaitheeswaran koil. This temple is also situated 3 kms east of Kathiramangalam Chathiram on the Mayiladuthurai Seerkazhi route. The Pazhavaaru river flows through the village making the area one of the most fertile and very prosperous, rich in both agriculture and spirituality. The temple and its vicinity have appeared in many of Thirugnyana Sambhandhar’s songs on Lord Shiva
